Treatment Court
The juvenile drug court program in the 9th Judicial District is a specialized probation program that requires an intensive level of probation supervision and substance abuse treatment. The program is designed for juveniles who are inovled in the juvenile justice system and continue to struggle due to their substance abusing behaviors. Participants are expected to attend all probation meetings and Pathways to Self Discovery and Change classes. Participants are also required to comply with the random drug testing program. Throughout the drug court process a graduated sanction program will be imposed for noncompliance.
The primary benefit of participating in the program is that clients receive intensive substance abuse treatment in a structured framework while under consistent judicial supervision. Client will gains skills and insight that will empower them to achieve long-term sobriety and to live a life free of criminal conduct.
